OK so here it is...my new blog! Well not so new...this blog was actually ready for launch two months ago but I delayed it due to my knee replacement surgery. Who wants to hear about that..!@#$%^&*()_... The idea of the blog came a fall Quilt Market in Houston when my friend Kathy Schmitz and I were trying to decided when we would get into the world of blogging... Well here I am! waving to you Kathy. I just returned from a quilt retreat that I hosted for my club members and friends. The retreat was a SEW YOUR BRAINS OUT retreat. A good time was had by all, we relaxed and laughed and completed tons of projects. I worked on a new design which is still under wraps right now and I finished a Civil War fabric version of my Peace in the Valley pattern. WOW IS IT STUNNING... I'm so pleased with it. I will take a picture and post it ASAP.. (see something else I have to figure out!) Be patient with me as I navigate the ins and outs of blogging.
I hope you enjoy my blog (I hope someone is reading this) I usually have plenty going on to blog about!! I will post often as I get started and let you know the days I will FOR SURE UPDATE THE BLOG. Stay tuned.........I love my life!

of course I will read your blog...i am putting you on my fav list along with Gretchen and Becky. Becky is a really good blogger and Gretchen knows how to fancy up her blog. I just write boring stuff! By the way, last night I finsihed the binding on Crossed Paths-early pinhead AND Rotten vegetables is at the shop to be quilted!!!!!

You put me to shame!!! My blog is hideous! You beat me hands down on figuring this blog stuff out! I have to admit I have started looking at blogs more then I ever did, but I find I'm drawn to the ones with lots of pictures : ) I take my camera everywhere - I took it to Portland Quilt Market with every intention on taking pictures of my booth and friends but I didn't even snap one shot! I hope you are well and keep up the good work!
