Mary Beth's boyfriend is coming over tonight so I'm FIREIN up the grill. I love to feed a hungry young man so tonight it is Pork, fingerling potatoes, marinated and grilled squash, zucchini and onions and homemade rolls...with the mandatory sweet tea (we drink gallons of that stuff all the time.)
It has been a busy weekend, we went to a graduation party for Becky's son on Saturday night. Becky's husband can DANG COOOK... He has something like 6 grills. So if you ever get invited to go over there and eat.....DON'T MISS IT. It was so much fun, meeting all of their family and enjoying their porch, and did I mention the food?
Well I had intended to post this give-a-way yesterday but I was on the run all day teaching a beginning applique' class at Patchwork Cottage and then zooming home getting dinner and then it was off to book club. So here I am. Today is posting 111...triple 1's so my give-a-way will include the following. I hope you like it!
A DVD of the movie The Way We Were. Oh how I love this movie.. MEMORIES DAH DAH DE DAH DAH DAH...OF THE WAY WE WERE. Ok I'll stop singing now. But seriously this movie is one of my all time favs. I wanted to give you something romantic and gooshy to sew by.
Another spool of Aurifil thread (and no I did not run over it) This one is kinda royal/navy. Something you might not ordinarily buy but would like to add to your collection.
And then there is a charm pack of Praire Paisley. And if you read my blog you know how I love that Minick and Simpson.

Oh, man! Awesome stuff. Can't tell you how many times I've seen that movie. Used to have Barbara Streisand's music on LP (kids call it big CD's) I would almost fight someone for hat Charm Pack. Love that fabric line. It's the basic fabric in my version of Firecrackers. So glad you enjoyed the party. We had a blast! Must do it again, once I've recovered :)
Oh now I'm going to be singing that song all day! Don't own it, but loved that movie! I've never tried Aurofil thread~ I'm keeping my fingers-crossed! :-))) Have a happy day!~
