Flabbergasted, adj. Appalled by discovering how much weight one has gained.
This is it, I can't take it any more. I'm drowning in plastic. I haven't moved from this house in 6 days.
All hail to the people of the north who can deal with snow and ice. Game over you win. Please visit us in the summer...when it is 20 thousand degrees outside and 99 percent humidity and it isn't even raining. We will talk.
Sewing room looking better. The rest of the house not so much. I've had enough. I'm leaving. I'm getting in the car I don't care what the department of transportation says.I'm going to drive in the somewhat melty ice. A girl must do what a girl must do no matter the weather.

 Yup I'm outta here.

You poor sweetie. I hope you enjoy your outing. Buy some fabric, get a manicure, eat some cheetos, get a Mocha with 3 extra pumps, buy some more fabric. I mean hey, who knows another blizzard may be coming ;-)

Hey Pat. I had to work yesterday, so trust me, the world is still out there. Drive careful; there are still slick spots. Me? I am staying home (at least 'til the thaw is complete).

Love your post. We are quite used to snow, not that I like it but one gets used to it. Today it snowed all day so it was a day in for me. Hate driving in all that mess. Luckily our roads are usually cleaned pretty fast. Hope you had fun today.

I have lived in Ohio and Alabama. I will take the heat and humidity ANY DAY over the snow and mess of an icy winter.
Since we had snow on Christmas it was NOT FAIR to get snow again in the same winter. Why? Because it never snows twice in a winter (and sticks) in Alabama.
