ME and MARTINGALE..SERIOUS LOVE!

Leap, and the net will appear.-John Burroughs

I forgot to put this in my blog post yesterday..I have an interview that  with the fabulous Durby Peterson from Martingale! If you go  here there is a rolling headline with the interview linky thingy that will zoom you directly to the interview. ZOOMING IS GOOD.

MY PICTURE IN A ROLLING HEADLINE!!!! The first time I saw it I about konked my head on the floor when I fell out of my chair. (I needed a quick infusion of Cheetos.) This is crazy, I need to settled down and go quilt sumthin... who knew??? ME in a rolling headline AND a featured interview with the best publishing company on the dang planet. I had tons of fun doing this so I hope you will take a little time to read it...let me know what you think...pahleeze!!! ok so I'm a little needy here and insecure about all this interviewing and stuff. I need to hear from my blog friends. Get along now you have reading to do. I'll be waiting right here for your comments..or I'll check my email every 1.5 seconds.

It was a wonderful interview! Love the new book and wish I was close enough to attend the Silver Thimble Club. I think you should definitely design a line of fabrics.

Lovely interview! I loved reading about you and your grandmother and the brick painting (how fun!). I have no doubt you'll design a line of fabrics. Good luck!

All I can say is that I am so lucky to consider you my friend! Perfect interview - it was so you, Pat! I love your book also because reading it is a little like sitting and talking with you - I've been meaning to tell you that! Missed you and the group last weekend.

Great interview Pat! I love your sense of humor :o) I wish I lived closer so I could be a member of the Silver Thimble Club but since I don't I'll just enjoy your wonderful book that I WON (from you)!! I'll show my pics when the quilts, yes that's plural, are DONE! Keep on keepin' on Ms. Golden Thimble....I love to hear and see what you're up to.

A rolling headline! Girlfriend! It doesn't get much better. Loved the interview. I could almost hear your voice. it was better than a bag of Cheetos. Congratulations!

The interview was great - and I've been enjoying your blog! Years ago a group of us (32 quilters, to be exact) participated in an exchange called No Darker than Sand. We each made a star block out of fabrics we considered to be no darker than sand. I love the quilt I have as a result of this challenge, and our enthusiasm led a few of us to also do a No Darker than Dirt exchange. I had never heard about neutrals not being on the color wheel, but that makes sense to me! My No Darker than Sand and No Darker than Dirt both qualify as neutrals, and even though I'm not a big fan of tans and browns, I love both these quilts!
