"It is worth remembering that the time of greatest gain in terms of wisdom and inner strength is often that of greatest difficulty."
I had intended to post today about my first day back in my sewing room. I will set that aside because I want to share a special announcement with my blogging family. Most of you know about the recent loss of our first grandchild during childbirth. Jackson Neil DeLoach. Sweet baby angel we so deeply love. Well, it turns out that his mother with daddy's support and contribution of words has decided to blog about their loss and their future. I hope you will visit their blog and leave them some comments if possible. I know it will mean much to them for you to stop by their new blog.

Do any of you remember the post I put up last fall (and if I was a better blogger I could locate a link to that post right now!) about the lady who came up to me after I had done a Quilt Guild lecture and told me that I had made her smile for the first time in 6 months or so since her husband had died? I also told her to go home and call her quilting friends and take up the needle because there is peace and healing in quilting alone and with dear friends....WELL GUESS WHAT! It is time for me to follow my own advice RIGHT???
Tomorrow...a visit to the sewing room...
