I received this from two dear friends on the same day. Vicki my blogging friend and Jan D. I loved it so much I wanted to use it today on my blog. I am not neatly put together just so you know!
Sewing all day today whooop whoop. I finished some deadline things and now on to other deadline things. I'm celebrating the fact that I have had my nail polish on for 4 days and no chips. Hey! it is important to find joy in the little things in life right???
I needed to set up some small handwork items so that when relaxing (do I ever reeely do that?) with the Earl de Schlep I can keep my projects going. I like to have things to pick up and stitch as I go out the door as well. I traced a whole bunch of embroidery projects to get a small jump on holiday giving goodies! I ironed some freezer paper (love those Reynolds Wrap people!) to stabilize the tea towel I was using. Then onto the light box and tracing with my handy dandy Frixion Pen. You probably know about all this but heck I took some photos anyway! Let's see how many of these little projects I can complete in one month! (haha could be a slim Christmas).
On to the sewing room again for a full day. Too hot to cook or eat!

Have a great day in the sewing room Pat!
Oh, that advice! It is so funny but also sad to think how different things used to be for women.
Oh my! I can't believe it's already July and you're onto Christmas! I'm trying to get ready for the grands coming in 3 weeks, but maybe after that I can begin. You sure do inspire me:-D XOXO
Thanks for the freezer paper idea to stabalize the tea towel. I need some hand work to grab and go, too, but didn't know how to transfer the patterns nicely.
Morning:
Its great to see that great minds work alike. LOL I hope you have a great 4th. I so want to start doing my Christmas stitching. Hey is it good enough that I have started buying Christmas already? Yep my closet is starting to fell alot like Christmas!
Hugs,

Christmas in July! Love the words about Christmas. Have a happy 4th!
I left a message on one of your posts after the loss of your precious grandson and you asked me to let you know when my grandson arrived. Well, our angel arrived on June 27th. That is our 31st wedding anniversary. The week before his birth, I found out I had won a copy of your book from Jo Kramer at her blog joscountryjunction. My grandson's name is Liam and he is doing great. My heart still breaks when I think of your loss, but as you and Emily have said, life has to go on. I feel a bond with you for some reason that I haven't been able to understand and I keep your family in my prayers.
Hope you had a great 4th.
