Friends pick us up when we fall down, and if they can't pick us up they lie down and listen for a while. -unknown
A tale of two retreats. Two different groups having a wonderful time in the mountains of North Georgia. The sewing and show and tells were beyond wonderful. The fellowship, friendships and just plain quilty love was palpible. I can try to explain it but photos tell the best of stories.
Retreat #1. Snow beautiful, misty and cozy. What is better than friends gathering with my quilts with a snowy background? It warms my heart! So cold and so warm at the same time. We had so much fun. I loved being with this group and look forward to being with them next year. Very special yup.Retreat #2. Warm (very) no snow, no coats but the same beautiful, cozy and warm feeling. (60+ degrees one week later, welcome to winter in Georgia, unpredictable! we had the doors open because we were roasting in the sewing room) I tell them that they are like hearding cats...evidence above. Talking the whole time. What an amazing group!
The truth is I have lots of photos to share but just prior to retreat #2, I began getting quite sick. Bronchitis and two blown ear drums (pain!), 5 prescriptions and I'm still struggling a week later. I'll be back with more to share. I have much to tell and quilts to show, right after I take my meds.
